NEBOSH Course Providers event @ Cochin
Communications with stakeholders are the essential element of an HSE Management System. NEBOSH, the world-famous safety qualification organization conducts frequent engagement with its Learning partners across the world.
It was a pleasure and a privilege for Petrotech Team to attend the Nebosh Learning Partner conference held at Le Meridien, Kochi on 26th May,2022. Mr Jagannath T Nair , General Manager and Shalini Manoj, Academic Manager represented Petrotech Team at the conference.
There were learning partners from centres across South India ,and Kochi being the Industrial hub of Kerala, makes much sense to held the conference there.
The welcome address was eloquently delivered by Mr Steve McLaughlin, who elaborated on new courses from Nebosh including Manual Handling and Risk Assessment. This was followed by Mr Paul Clegg’s speech on the benefits of becoming a Nebosh examiner. He gave few guidelines to be followed by the learners while attending the OBE exams.
After a short coffee break, Mr. Liam Mihell detailed the importance of following Nebosh’s Malpractice policy and maintaining the integrity of its qualifications. The learning partners were encouraged to interact and clear their doubts and many asked some very valid questions.
The brain storming session that followed enlivened the proceedings, where in the learning partners offered a wide range of suggestions to broaden the prospects of Nebosh qualifications in India, and also to attain widespread recognition in the Indian corporate sector.
Later on ,after lunch ,we had a one to one session with the Nebosh team.
It was a fulfilling and motivating experience at the conference, as we could interact with the Nebosh team and well as with other learning partners.
Last, but not the least, a big warm thank you for the wonderful hospitality and sumptuous food served by Le Meridian and also to Nebosh for giving us an opportunity to attend the conference and express our opinions.
